Radio in Spain

How about getting a licence,
Pirates in Spain and how strict government is?

There are many, many unlicensed radio stations in Spain, mainly operating on low power to a local audience. This has been the case for many years, although there have always been threats of a crackdown on the "pirates". The FM band is very crowded indeed and there have been incidents where rival stations on neighbouring frequencies have had more than a few angry words about interference!! Down here in Andalucían, there are a number of English language stations catering for the foreign population and the tourist trade. Getting a licence is almost impossible. Most go to Town Halls.
