moving to Madrid - 03/19/01 11:25 PM

Greetings,

In July I will move to Madrid to begin a permanent job there. I will be there often before the move, and am next week arriving to stay at a hotel in Centro zona.

My question for the good people of Madrid Man is regarding advice in finding a good living situation in Madrid.

I am using Segundamano to get a feel for the flats for rent as well as the flat sharing advertisements. I am desirous of a large atico apartment with spectacular view between the metro stations at Opera to Ventas.

Are there other resources than Segundamano? Any great tips?

Thanks very much, I hope to connect with folks in Madrid.

I'm also moving to Madrid this summer, here's a good site that I've found for getting an idea about prices, etc.
www.idealista.com - Look up specific pisos for rent based on neighborhoods and criteria.

I'll be checking back to see what other suggestions people might have...

Hey, if you get one on the Gran Vía can I come over for a rockin' party? I've ALWAYS wanted to have a bash in an atico there! Sort of like in Día de la Bestia! Good luck on your search!
