Photography in the Alhambra - 02/09/04 04:46 PM

Hi, hopefully we shall be in Granada in May, and intend going to the Alhambra again. I'd like to do an evening visit, something I've not done before. When I was there last time, tripods were not allowed for photography, but for evening shots, with the longer exposure times, it's necessary. Anuone know if they are also banned at night, or indeed, any ideas to get around the problem.
Thanks
Frank

Check with the local tourism board in town or at the ayuntamiento. Perhaps you could get a "one-day" or "limited-use" permit if you're an avid amateur. I'm assuming they'd be more disposed to letting an amateur do photo work with all the accoutrements.

I was just there--awesome place! We all brought cameras, video cameras etc and it was fine...
