Tomorrow, His Holiness Pope John Paul II, will announce that the founder of Opus Dei , Josemaria Escriva will be cannonized. He established Opus Dei in Madrid, in October 28, 1928.

Meanwhile they seem to be dragging their heels a bit on their original plan to to the same for Isabel La Catolica. Apparently the initial fervour has died down after the culturally-sensitive folks at the Vatican decided that Muslim and Jewish brethern might take offence.
