Madrid:French-speaking violin teacher? - 02/20/02 05:38 AM

Moving end of the month to Madrid ,my son ,9 years old ,very gifted and serious about violin playing(1 year experience) ,he will desperately need a violin teacher ,who can speak a bit of French ,because he doesn't speak spanish yet .
any idea ?

You could ask at the Alliance Française and I imagine there is an expatriate organization for French people there (and Belges)

There is also Instituto Francés close to Colón Sq. which is a kind of Instituo Cervantes for French which a lot of activities around French culture and Liceo Francés which is a French school, maybe you can ask there.
I think it won't be easy. You could also look for one in the conservatorio or put an advertisment in some music related shops(Real Musical, etc..)
