made it (to Madrid)

i wish somebody had told me that those girls walking up and down grand via were [prostitutes]... could have saved myself some major embarrasment!

In the streets nearby, there are a lot, but they are the worst looking ones in Madrid, and anybody can tell. It seems that there is a new kind of them, and that they select tourists, for I knew nothing about.
