Windy here today

I have never seen it so windy in Madrid in the 3 years I have lived here. The wind was so strong it was blowing pieces of my building off today(Rain Gutters). Numerous plants were uprooted where I work and I seen tall trees bent almost all the way over. Anybody here experienced wind like this before? I have been through a few Hurricaines but that is totally different. I bet we had wind gusts of 60 MPH today.

Whew! It was WINDY here in Valencia today too! MY GOODNESS! It was NOT the day to be atop the Torres de Serrano with all that wind and dust flying around. It was windy throughout Spain today. I saw on the news the big, mature trees in San Sebastian-Donostia were uprooted.
