Madrid: Pocket Knives & Pepper Spray? - 08/01/07 04:40 PM

Hi everyone.

I am looking for a place that sells pocket knives, switchblades or anything along those lines in Madrid. Any help would be much appreciated!

Also, is Mace/Pepper Spray legal in Spain? I did a search on here and only came up with a thread from a few years ago saying it is illegal, but on Wikipedia it says that a 'weaker' concoction is available for anyone over 18 to buy. Any info on that also would be much appreciated!

Thanks in advance wave

By the way, I know my question sounds a little bit strange, but I'm just... curious about these things wink

You can usually find/buy pocket knives and flip-out knives (not switch blades though) in the Chinese stores but they're often of low quality. They may not pass through airport inspection when you check your luggage on your return flight though.

I don't know about mace/pepper spray. Sorry.

Ok, thank you MadridMan smile

That's great that you live in Madrid! Maybe you'd like to attend Monday's lunch in Chueca with some of the other members of the message board. You'll find details in the "Personals & Classifieds" forum category.
