Thanks for the link but............. NO SAUSAGES!!!!

Aargh!!!

Does anyone know where I can get some good British sausages? Not the cheap and nasty ones, but the butcher's own type, pork and apple, beef and pepper, lincolnshire etc etc

Here's to hoping.

You mean like the ones I fill my coolbag with when I nip into Gibraltar now and then? wink

I'm not the world's greatest sausage lover, but I do like Wabberthwaite sausages from West Cumbria (AKA previously as Cumberland with Westmorland added in) - they are the best.

Next time I come over, I'll bring you some (Am I allowed? I'll have to look at the DEFRA site and check).

Not the same as being able to get them when you want though is it?

Thanks for the xpatshop link paulinspain - I'll send it on to my brother in Japan cool

Joanne that would be fantastic, but I fear that you will not be allowed to. Since BSE and Foot and Mouth, there have been tight restrictions on transport of uncooked foods.
