Quid pro quo, Clarice...excellent question. I don't personally know of any good shops but I did find this link which lists some studios Madrid Tat Shops
I've been thinking about getting another one, too(must...have...more...ink). If you get a chance to check out any artists' books before the dinner and have good recommendations, I'd be interested in sharing info...see ya!

I know a good place in Salamanca: my seņora's beauty salon! Picture it: while my friends' seņoras called them "hija" and puttered around the kitchen, mine got dolled up in fur and high heels, painted herself with makeup, and went off to work at The Aloe Shop, where she gave me a tattoo that only lasts for 3 years. No one has ever heard of such a thing, so I guess we'll see in another 2 years if it actually fades away!

Now, when you get your ink done in Spain, be sure you've got things spelled out correctly. We don't want anyone with "I Love Espain" or "Mam" instead of "mom" on their arm. rolleyes

There is a tatooist shop close by Puerta del Sol. There is a guy walking round with a billboard on advertising the shop, but can't remember where! Sorry.
