I'll be telling Juliana about this. She is so trying to find a way to stay longer in Spain! To her parents, it would be great that she would have some money coming in, if she does get to stay!

well there is definitively more demand than ever to come into Spain anyway.. I even have some friends going thru the paperwork of citizenship so they can come over and work.Amazing Europe EU ::)

Pedmar -TT is "too old" for that specific program for teacher assistants!
Just be aware that the stipend offered is really not enough to live on but just a litle something.the good news is that you would be there legaly and could easily supplement it with private lessons! I wish I was younger to take advantage of this opportunity!

I think you have to have special permission to be over 30 or 35. (I forget the limit) It sounds like it's more a program for people who are just out of college like Jacmom's daughter. But Crisco is right, it would be a good way to have legal work and then supplement, unless you were independently wealthy.

I know people there doing it and they are not college bound ::) In fact an American friend went thru all that and now teaches English there and he is "older".. However, that was a while back so maybe things are different now....Lol!
