"You're less likely to throw a spit-wad if you know the teacher is watching."

They've also installed cameras in the Plaza Mayor, they said this morning on Telemadrid TV. I'm not against the cameras. I guess they serve a dual purpose in A) making people
feel safer and B) a faster reaction to problems. But if the cameras are so "hidden" normal people won't even know they're there. But I guess if you make them obvious they'd be subject to vandalism.
Big Brother has no place in my home, in my own private space. But when I'm out on the street I'm in public, sharing a common space, so I don't feel
violated when there's a camera on me while I'm waiting for the bus. Besides, they don't have enough people working those monitors to watch every single person on every camera.
Provide an opportunity and
someone will exploit it. How can society
correct this? I have no idea.
Saludos, MadridMan
