I'm arriving in Madrid late on a tuesday night and I have a tienta the next morning in the salamanca area. My plan is to hire a car drive for about an hour, stop at a motel, and drive the rest the next morning.

I will be stopping at a motel after midnight. Is it advisable to book one or should I be able to check in at that kind of time?
