Hi, it looks like I'm moving to Barcelona soon
Now what i'd like to know in advance (so I have an idea how much to save in advance) how much I should expect to pay in housing costs

What I'll be needing is a room in an appartment (shared or sommething is okay) and if possible not to far away from the Ramblas part in Barcelona, I am not used to much luxery (heck I don't even own a bed and sleep on a matrass now) so it would't have to be annything special, just safe and clean.

How much should I budget in advance? could someone give me an estimate?

Oh and I'd prefer not to use an agency and not sign a contract for more than six months, but perhaps I'm asking for to much... in Berlic today it really is a renters market, about Barcelona I really don't know
