I will be traveling to Madrid in late February and will be staying for 3 months. I am looking for an apartment to rent for the time that I am there. I would like to stay in an area that is somewhat lively. I would also like a place that is modern for no more than 1,000 Euros.

If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate their assistance.

try www.expatriates.com. When I lived in sevilla I was able to find an apt for 350 euros a month in madrid on line. I had my own room in a 5 bedroom apt.I had great roomates.I called the number and saw the place. Of course I was in spain at the time so I was able to see the place before I made the deal.
