I need some info. on football jerseys. I need to buy a Real Madrid and a Barcelona jersey for a friend and his young son. I am looking for offical jerseys, no cheap Knock-offs. How much do they usually cost, and will I have any problems finding a Barcelona jersey in Madrid. Thank you......

They usually cost 7000-10000 ptas and it won't be difficult to find one of Barcelona in Madrid in any sport shop.

I bought the Real Madrid jersey in Corte Ingles sports floor for the equivalent of 50-60 U.S.

Real Who? Barca What? You can get a good Malaga CF shirt for 6.000 Pts. Don't bother with the second rate teams!

you can also get a real madrid or barca jersey in the corte ingles... the corte ingles can be expensive, so be prepared to pay for it... also, you can get spanish national team shorts and jerseys...

I bought Real Madrid jerseys at Real Madrid Santiago Bernabeu stadium store, with is located next to the stadium, all kinds of souvenirs from Real Madrid, jerseys 7000 or more.
I went to Barcelona Neu Camp Stadium store. And that store is huge, like anyother big sports store in the US but all is refering to Barcelona team.

Thanks for the info. I just got back from Spain. I had an awesome time. I found a good deal in Cadiz. Got a Real Madrid jersey for 7900 pesetas and a Barcelona jersey for 4900 pesetas. I noticed that the Real Madrid jerseys were always more than the Barcelona jerseys, even cheaper for other Spanish teams. Are the prices adjusted to how popular the team is?????? I was suppose to get them for a friend, but I actually got a couple for myself too. The great thing is that I can wear them to work since they are collared shirts and since one never sees football jerseys in the U.S. it is very noticeable. I wore my Real Madrid jersey on my first day back to work and my co-workers loved it.....

Prices depends on different things, but the main sales are when the design is from the last year as each year they have a little difference in the design.

I remember I bought an official Nike Barca jersey in one of those many souvenir stores right on Las Ramblas. I don't know if it's like this in other stores, but I remember talking this guy down to 6500 pesetas for the jersey, which seems really cheap. I guess if you can, go some place where every store is competing with the others to sell merchandise.
