Would appreciate help again. I will be in Madrid next week and the following. If I have some money left over from buying the guitar for my husband I hope to buy some art supply. I paint in oils and hope maybe to find a art supply shop in Madrid.

There are plenty of these places Margarete .... The Spanish love to be creative and art is high on their agenda . Near my apartment there is both a guitar maker ( Calle Hermosilla ) ... fascinating watching him work , but in Calle Fundadores there is a dedicated art shop . You can also depend on Corte Ingles ( the big department store ) . They will have an extensive selection too . There are MANY others so you´ll not have a problem finding what you want .
