oh yes chorizo is glorious, get my original here from a spanish expat store. My father does it in an omelette , wonderful, you can do it in cider ,the Asturian way as Steve mentioned, but also in beer try Mahou ::) Cheers

You can buy your sim card in El Corte Inglés or wherever cell phone shop you want (vodafone, movistar, orange or yoigo). I'd recommend you to go to The Phone House shop where you can buy a sim card from one of these companies and perhaps you can get

I think the embassy in Madrid has a fotomat for those who need photographs. I think they also have an expedited service (same day?) for around 90€.

Thanks for the posting Steve. I have seen dogs in numerous bars and cafes through-out Spain ... but rarely in Madrid. I still figure some day I WILL be able to live in Spain (fingers crossed) and can't really imagine not having a dog. Good for you
